Athletic Propulsion Labs™ (APL) was created to combine the knowledge and experience of world-class footwear minds.  With over seventeen global patents on innovative athletic footwear technology, each of our team members brings a unique perspective to our mission to push the footwear envelope.  Along with a new generation of innovators, our squad has developed products such as inflatable pump shoes, lighted shoes, energy return systems, and hexalite.

The APL's Concept 1 basketball shoe was designed by a world-renowned footwear designer and is manufactured at what is generally considered the finest footwear factory group in the world.  For our technology patents, our extended team of experts also includes one of the top intellectual property groups in the country,
and all of our vertical leap testing was performed under the supervision of two highly respected PhDs in biomechanics - whose specialty for the past two decades has been the study of vertical leap.
