"the shoes are really light weight and so far comfortable. but the laces are a nightmare. when relacing the elastic laces already in the shoe the metal tip keeping the lace from fraying came off, and for this price I was flabbergasted. The plastic clip that keeps the laces together needs Hercules to open it, and the other laces provided were way way to short, not sure what is going on. the eyelets for the laces are also really really tiny and just a loop so anyone with big fingers, good luck. I wanted to keep them because of their light weight but I would not agree that the price of these shoes are in anyway justified. asics and hokka are better"

"Very hard to get into then unlike my other APL shoes. The back isn’t thick, no loop to hold. Came with just one substitute lace in the box instead of a pair. Looks good though, but not very comfortable"

Lovely shoes

"I will start by saying these are beautiful shoes, which is the reason I bought them. I could care less about not having laces or not - I don't have an issue with laces in general. My 4 star vs 5 star difference is mainly price. I would say they don't feel or act any different than a pair of good running shoes from other brands that are at least $100 cheaper. I guess for $350 I was really expecting it to wow me, which I didn't get. Very pretty so I'm keeping because sometimes I tend to go for looks over function. . . but I don't know if I would buy another pair for that much."
