Community and safety are two things that are incredibly important to APL and because of this, with each shoe purchase we will be including a free Personal Protection Shield to be worn over your mask to offer another level of protection if you must leave your home. APL will be donating them locally to medical and essential workers across the state of California, including but not limited to the Keck Hospital of USC, the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center,  and Erewhon Markets.

Our shield is designed and manufactured in the United States and is made from optically clear, recyclable PET polyester plastic and is reusable, as long as the surfaces are disinfected after each wear.
